Philadelphia Inquirer exposes Pennsylvania’s complicity in cutting off incarcerated people’s access to books

We recap an investigation into Pennsylvania's new prison mail policy, wherein free book donations to incarcerated people have been replaced with costly e-books. Prison telecom giant GTL has the e-book contract, and its "library" is missing many of the books that incarcerated people request from donors most often - for example, dictionaries.
